11/3/11 – Entre Prises Climbing Walls today announced that it has signed a share purchase agreement to acquire Top 30 Climbing Walls.
“We are very excited about this opportunity to bring these two great teams together. This, once again, reinforces our position as the world leader in climbing wall manufacturing and installation,” said Antoine Richard, CEO of Entre Prises.

Founded in 1992, Top30 is a Spanish company based in Asturias. They are the market leader in Spain and Norway and well known in the climbing community for their involvement in the competition world and team of sponsored climbers. Their recent appointment as the sole official partner of the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) and the organizer for 3 World Cup events has been the latest of significant accomplishments.

This alliance is not a coincidence; the two teams share the same vision and adhere to the same values. Top30 will therefore keep their operational autonomy and contribute to the development of the group by continuing to put their experience and passion at the service of their customers and the development of climbing.

Entre Prises Climbing Walls presents Chris Sharma on Oct. 14, 2011 at the Quay in SW England. This is the second stop in a series of events with Chris Sharma that will be hosted by Entre Prises Climbing Walls at notable EP installations throughout the world.

The Quay event will be Chris’ only UK appearance this year.  Chris will be leading a workshop with local school children in the morning and climbing in the centre during open sessions in the afternoon.  Any registered centre users will be able to climb as usual during the afternoon of the 14th and therefore will be able to see Chris in action.  Also, Boone Speed Photography will be onsite to photograph the event.

The EP Climbing Wall at the Quay – Designed and built by Entre-Prises Climbing Walls, officially opened on Monday 12th featuring EP’s’ MozaiK climbing wall system. The Quay Climbing Centre, is South West England’s largest dedicated indoor rock climbing centre. The centre breathes new life into the Old Electricity Works, one of Exeter’s most identifiable buildings where, at over 15 metres at the apex, the atrium provides a majestic space in which to climb.
